ABOUT THE 2012 JUNIOR ADVISORY BOARD (JAB)

JAB was born from the need to involve students in meaningful ways both in and beyond the classroom.  Now in its second year, JAB has given young people the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and interests while continuing to develop new skills.

Made up of 6 core members of varying ages and expertise, JAB was tasked with choosing 6 films from a library of over 350. Out of these selections, you — our friends, families and audience — will VOTE and CHOOSE this year’s winner of the F. John Outcalt Award for Outstanding Filmmaking.

The response to the call has been tremendous and we will announce the audience favorite at the Gala on October 10, 2012!
